The island of Porquerolles is part of the archipelago of the islands of Hyères, also called "Golden Islands". The island, classified Heart of National Park since 2012, offers a diversity of landscapes between the coast, the fine sand beaches, the sparkling turquoise water and the cultivated plains. On the North Coast of the island, find various coves, Langoustier beach, Notre Dame beach, silver beach... and many other little corners of paradise.

On this poster, the artist Eric Garence wanted to represent the village of Porquerolles, its main square and its church. Two bicycles are placed there in front of the curious doves.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Eric Garence was born in Nice in 1980. Chosen in 2017 by the Côte d'Azur as an illustrator and official ambassador, he realized an anthology of posters from the French Riviera, from Menton to Saint Tropez via Nice, Cannes, Monaco, Antibes but also Saint Raphaël, Tourtour, the Gorges du Verdon ... He exhibited in several establishments, hotels, museums in France as well as in Italy in Rome and Milan.

The illustrator also works for companies and cities that ask him to re-interprate through his colorful and authentic filter their brand or territory.

His influences come from beginning of the century illustrators and zoologists like Roger Broders or La Maison Deyrolle but also from L'Ecole de Nice with Arman or Yves Klein.
