ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Between sea and mountains and lulled by wild lavender, Sainte Agnes is a village with an authentic character. At 800 meters above sea level, the artist Eric Garence invites you to take a walk around the small town. The town offers you an exceptional point of view on the coast in the distance and Menton below. On the poster, we see Sainte Agnes among the mountains and the lavender, then in the distance, the remains of the medieval castle dominate Sainte-Agnès from the top of their 800 meters. ABOUT THE ARTIST

Eric Garence was born in Nice in 1980. Chosen in 2017 by the Côte d'Azur as an illustrator and official ambassador, he realized an anthology of posters from the French Riviera, from Menton to Saint Tropez via Nice, Cannes, Monaco, Antibes but also Saint Raphaël, Tourtour, the Gorges du Verdon ... He exhibited in several establishments, hotels, museums in France as well as in Italy in Rome and Milan.

The illustrator also works for companies and cities that ask him to re-interprate through his colorful and authentic filter their brand or territory.

His influences come from beginning of the century illustrators and zoologists like Roger Broders or La Maison Deyrolle but also from L'Ecole de Nice with Arman or Yves Klein.
