Art illustration part of the series devoted to Switzerland. Edited in 2018, this original poster signed Eric Garence shows one of the most famous Swiss ski resort in the canton of Graubünden: St. Moritz.
St. Moritz, known for its 322 days of sunshine a year, is one of the oldest ski resorts in the world. The Olympic Winter Games were held there twice in 1928 and 1948.
St. Moritz is also renowned for its palaces, spa treatments, casino and polo on frozen lake, St. Moritz attracts since 1864 "high society".
This poster represents St. Moritz by night so as to accentuate the urban lighting. Indeed in 1878, St. Moritz was the first municipality in Switzerland to light in the electric light. She was also the first to inaugurate a ski lift in 1935.

Eric Garence was born in Nice in 1980. Chosen in 2017 by the Côte d'Azur as an illustrator and official ambassador, he realized an anthology of posters from the French Riviera, from Menton to Saint Tropez via Nice, Cannes, Monaco, Antibes but also Saint Raphaël, Tourtour, the Gorges du Verdon ... He exhibited in several establishments, hotels, museums in France as well as in Italy in Rome and Milan.
The illustrator also works for companies and cities that ask him to re-interprate through his colorful and authentic filter their brand or territory.
His influences come from beginning of the century illustrators and zoologists like Roger Broders or La Maison Deyrolle but also from L'Ecole de Nice with Arman or Yves Klein.
