ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Artistic illustration part of the collection of posters dedicated to Trouville-sur-Mer, this original poster signed Eric Garence represents the queen of the beaches "Trouville-sur-Mer". In the foreground, a pinup takes place on the diving board of the pool and a branch of apple blossom reminiscent of the green meadows of Calvados. In the background, the "Trouville Palace" seems to monitor the beach and its cabins. Tribute to Raymond Savignac.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Eric Garence is a French artist born in 1980. Chosen by the Côte d'Azur as an illustrator and official ambassador, he realized an anthology of posters from the French Riviera, from Menton to Saint Tropez via Nice, Cannes, Monaco, Antibes but also Saint Raphaël, Tourtour, the Gorges du Verdon ... He exhibited in several establishments, hotels, museums in France as well as in Italy in Rome and Milan.

The illustrator also works for companies and cities that ask him to re-interprate through his colorful and authentic filter their brand or territory.

His influences come from beginning of the century illustrators and zoologists like Roger Broders or Raymond Savignac but also from L'Ecole de Nice with Arman or Yves Klein.
