ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Art illustration from the collection made in collaboration with CAFE SENEQUIER. This original poster signed Eric Garence is a tribute to Karl Lagerfeld who had his habits at Café Sénequier.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Eric Garence is an artist born in Nice in 1980. Illustrator and official ambassador of the Côte d'Azur France brand, he is made famous by the creation of a large number of posters on the Côte d'Azur in which he hides details that tell the story of the place.

Eric Garence's posters can thus be found today on products from major brands such as for the Maison Fragonard, Galeries Lafayette and many other brands with which he signs international collaborations. In 2018, he signs the poster for the official residence of the President of the Republic, the Fort de Brégançon.

His influences come from posters and zoologists at the turn of the century such as Roger Broders and Maison Deyrolle, but also from the Nice school with Arman and Yves Klein.
